How Can I Find My CrazyDomains EPP Code?

I've transferred both hosting and domains before, as I own quite a few of them. However, one of the hardest ones I've found to work with, has been CrazyDomains. Every time I come in contact with them, they want to either charge extra for basic features, or simply don't allow options some website need.

Some of the issues I've come across:

  • Unable to point a blogspot domain name to CrazyDomains as they don't support this setup requirements.
  • Charging extra for the DNS domain requirements for sites like Weebly.
  • Confusing and difficult to understand support services, with no live support.
  • Issues with CName and AName records.
Today I had a client request that I transfer their domain from CrazyDomains to Namecheap (one of my preferred domain providers).

I went looking for the EPP key, which is required to prove you own the domain, before you begin the transfer to a new domain provider.
In the end, the key was right in front of me - but being unused to the layout of CrazyDomains, I couldn't find it. However I did end up finding the key, so here are instructions:

  1. Login to your crazydomains domain account (not your hosting account)
  2. Click on the blue square in the menu row of squares that says "Domains".
  3. Click on "Manage" in the left bar that appears.
  4. Click on "Registry Key" in the center blue bar.
  5. In the page that loads, copy your registry key over for verification by your new domain provider.
Below I've uploaded a screenshot of where you can find the Crazydomains EPP code (registry key).

  3. Thanks!! I just entered the EPP for a domain name transfer away from Crazy Domains. But does Crazy Domain charge you to transfer your name away from them? If so how much for a .com? Time it takes to transfer? And what do you have to do from the Crazy Domain management end?
